Biography: Son of Robert Lumsden; born Aberdeen, 16 December 1874. M.B., 1897; D.P.H. (St. Andrews), 1913. Lieutenant, Royal Army Medical Corps, 7 July 1915 ; attached to 13th Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, 113th Field Ambulance, 1/3rd Northumbrian Field Ambulance. Served-U.K., 1915-17, 1918-19; Salonika, April 1917-March 1918; France, March-September 1918. Final rank, Captain. Military Cross.
