Biography: Son of James W. Leggat; born King Edward, 29 November 1888. M.B., 1911 ; D.P.H., 1913. Lieutenant, Royal Army Medical Corps, 9 February 1915 ; attached (Radiologist) 30th Casualty Clearing Station. Served-Home, 1915 ; France, August 1915-December 1918. Final rank, Captain.
