Biography: Son of William Ledingham; born Boyndie, Banffshire, 3 November 1895. Science, 1913-14; Medicine, 1919-. Private, 4th Gordon Highlanders, January 1914. Mobilized. Commissioned 4 August 1916; seconded to Special Brigade, Royal Engineers. Served-Home, 1914-15, 1916, 1918-19; Belgium, February 1915-March 1916; France, September 1916-September 1918. Final rank, Lieutenant, Gordon Highlanders.
