Biography: Son of Henry Lawrence; born 19 May 1860. Arts, 1877-78, 1880-81 ; Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh), 1881. Mobilized Major, South African Medical Corps, January 1915. Served-Cape Town and Union of South Africa, 3½ years. Final rank, Major.
