Biography: Son of William Younie; born Huntly, 29 July1885. M.A. (II Merit), 1909; B.D. (Ed.), 1915. U Company, 4th Gordon Highlanders, 1905-09. War work - Divisional Secretary, Y.M.C.A., Mesopotamia and Persia, 1915-19.
