Biography: Son of John W. Youngson; born Sialkot, Punjab, 29 January 1887. M.A., 1907; B.D. (Hons.), 1911; Bruce and Fraser Scholar; Stuart (Hebrew) Prize. War work - Ministerial duty to Presbyterian and Non-conformist troops at Nairobi, B.E. Africa, 1918-19.
