Young, Thomas Charles Mccombie
Biography: Son of Thomas Young; born Ellon, 26 June 1880. M.B., 1901; D.P.H., 1909; M.D., 1915. Commissioned, Indian Medical Service, 1902. Retained for civil employ as an ""indispensable"", to deal with threatened epidemic. War work - Medical examination, inoculation, of all Labour Corps recruited from Assam; Medical and sanitary arrangements for their despatch and reception. Final rank, Major.
