Biography: Son of Robert Urquhart; born Botriphnie, 21 April 1872. M.A., 1894; M.B., 1898; D.P.H., 1900; M.D., (com.), 1903. Captain, R.A.M.C. (T.), 25 March 1915. Attached to 1/1st London Casualty Clearing Station, Military Hospitals. Served - Home, 2 years; France, Flanders, 6 months. Final rank, Captain.
