Biography: Son of G. F. I. Philip; born Inverkeithny, 15 October 1865. M.B., 1889; D.P.H. (with credit), 1889; M.D., 1892. War work - Officer Commanding, 6th Northumberland Voluntary Aid Detachment Hospital, 1914-19. Mentioned in despatches, November 1918.
