Biography: Son of Henry Peterkin; born Aberdeen, 14 June 1887. M.A., 1908; LL.B., 1911. 2nd Lieutenant, 4th Gordon Highlanders, 1909; mobilized, August 1914. Served-Home, 1914-15, 1915-16; France, February-October 1915, August-September 1916; Home, September-November 1916; France and Army of the Rhine, November 1916-December 1919. Final rank, Acting Lieutenant-Colonel. C.B.E., June 1919. Two mentions, January 1918, July 1919.
