Dawson, George Forbes
Biography: Son of William Dawson; born Aberdeen, 29 June 1884. M.A., 1903; M.B., 1906. Joined U Company, 1st Volunteer Brigade Gordon Highlanders and R.A.M.C. (Volunteers). Lieutenant, R.A.M.C., July 1907. Served - France, September 1914-March 1916; India, April 1916-September 1919. Final rank, Major. Military Cross, June 1915. Mentioned in despatches, June 1915.
