Milne, Patrick George

Biography: Son of James Milne ; born Fraser-burgh, 3 January 1887 ; educated Fraserburgh Academy and subsequently at Milne's Institution, Fochabers ; graduated M.B., 1915. Immediately after graduation he joined the R.A.M.C., was attached to the 91st Field Ambulance, and was shortly afterwards gazetted to the 93rd Field Ambulance, July 1915. He served for a time in France, returning later to England, where he was President of Medical Boards at Chatham, and Medical Officer to the Notts and Derby Regiment. He returned to France in 1918, and a fortnight later was killed in action at an advanced dressing station near Armentières, 22 April 1918.

Burial Details: Buried at Cuiq-Rues British Cemetery, Hazebrouck, Plot 1, Row B., Grave 5.
