Biography: Son of R. Davidson; born St. Cyrus, 22 September 1891. Divinity, 1913-16; M.A. (St. And.), 1912. St Andrews University O.T.C. Gunner, Royal Field Artillery, February1916; commissioned, 1 October 1916. Home service, 1916; France, August 1916-November. 1917. Invalided out of service. Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant.
