Biography: Son of John Ruxton; born Foveran, Aberdeenshire, 30 June 1863. M.B., 1884. Commissioned, R.A.M.C. (V.), February 1917; attached to 1st Northern General Hospital, Newcastle-on-Tyne; 1st Northumberland Volunteer Regiment. Final rank, Lieutenant.
