Biography: Son of George Ruxton; born Ellon, 28 September 1881. M.B., 1904 ; D.P.H., 1905. War work-Assistant Commandant, Auxiliary Military Hospital, Isleworth, 1915. Commissioned, R.A.M.C., 1 November 1915; attached to 37th Heavy Brigade, Royal Garrison Artillery, 63rd Field Ambulance, 1/7th Royal Warwickshire Regiment, 1/7th Worcestershire Regiment. Served-Home, 1915, 1917; Salonika, February-October 1916; France, October-November 1917; Italy, November 1917-March 1918. Final rank, Captain.
