Biography: Son of John Rowe; born Phillack, Cornwall; 7 July 1870. M.B., 1894. Aberdeen Volunteer Medical Staff Corps, 1890-94. Officer Training Corps Bradford Volunteers, 1914-15, attached to R.A.M.C., June 1915-May 1916. Commissioned, Bradford Volunteers, 4 March 1917; transferred West Riding Volunteer Medical Corps, 1918; Home Service, Salisbury Plain, 1915-16; Recruiting, Pensions, Boards, Bradford, 1915-19. Final rank, Captain.
