Biography: Son of Alexander Ross; born Forglen, 26 May 1867. M.A. (II Ment.), 1889; B.D. Chaplain-Captain, T.F., 1907; attached to 2nd Royal Field Artillery. Mobilized, 1914. Served-Home, 1914-16. Final rank, Major. War work-Churches' Huts, France, 1917-18. Palmes en or de l'ordre de la Couronne (Belgian).
