Biography: Son of John Rose; born Daviot, Inverness-shire, 22 October 1876. M.A. (Ill Ment), 1898; M.B., 1902; D.P.H.; R.C.P.S. (London.), 1910. Commissioned, South African Medical Servive, 29 January 1915; attached to (R.M.O.), VI Mounted Rifles, VII S. A. Horse. Served-German South West Africa, German East Africa, South Africa Union, January, 1915-November 1919. Final rank, Captain.
