Biography: Son of A. F. Robertson; born Robertson, Cape Colony, 22 December 1892. M.B., 1919. War work- British Red Cross, France, Belgium, October 1914-October 1916. Enlisted, Royal Field Artillery (Special Reserve), October 1916. Commissioned, February 1917. Served-France. Wounded; discharged, May 1918. Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant.
