Robertson, James
Biography: Son of Robert Robertson; born Grantown-on-Spey, 19 August 1855. Arts, 1873-76; D.D., 1901. C.F., 4th Class, 1884; commissioned, Royal Army Chaplains' Department, 1887. Served in South African War, 1901. Distinguish Service Order Retired 1904. 1st Class Chaplain, attached to Scottish Horse, July 1909. Served 6 months during Great War. Final rank, Colonel. War work-Chairman, Red Cross Executive Committee, Perthshire, 1909-. Military Representative Demobilization and Employment Committee, West Perthshire. Mentioned in despatches, 1919.
