Biography: Son of Robert Robertson; born Coupar-Angus, 27 March 1883. M.A. (II .Math.), 1906; B.Sc., 1908. Private, 14th Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, 10 August 1915; transferred Royal Engineers. Served-Home, 1915-16; France, May 1916-December 1917. Final rank, Corporal.
