Biography: Son of James Robertson; born Cromdale, 3 August 1891. B.Sc. (Agr.), 1913 ; M.A., 1914. Private, 6th Seaforth Highlanders, 17 December 1914. Served with 1/5th Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, M.G.T.C. Commissioned, July 1916. Home, 1914-16, 1917-18; France, November 1916-April 1917; Egypt, France, January-September 1918. Final rank, Lieutenant. Military Cross. Croix de Guerre (avec Etoile en vermeil).
