Biography: Son of Robert B. Ritchie; born Rosehearty, 8 November 1890. M.A.,1912. Private, R.A.M.C (T.F.), 8 June 1915; transferred Royal Engineers Meteorological Section. Served-Home, 1915-17; Macedonia, April 1917-February 1919. Final rank, Corporal.
