Biography: Son of John Ritchie; born Aberdeen, 25 August 1888. Science, 1911-12. Trooper, 9th Canadian Mounted Rifles, 31 December 1914; transferred Fort Garry Horse. Served-Canada, 1914-15; England, July 1915-January 1916; France, February 1916-March 1918. Wounded. Final rank, Trooper.
