(Hons)., 1913; M.D. (Hons), 1917; Fife Jamieson Gold Medal; Knox Bursar; Murray, Struthers, Scholarships; Savili Prize and Medal; Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. A.U.O.T.C. Lieutenant, Royal Army Medical Corps, 15 March 1915. Officer in charge Empire Hospital for injuries of the nervous system, research work, London, 1915-19. Final rank, Captain.
