Biography: Son of William Riddel; born Leochel-Cushnie, Aberdeenshire, 22 November 1878. B.Sc. (dist.), 1898 ; Boxill Prize. Private, Royal Army Medical Corps, 29 January 1915. Served-Home, 1915; France, June 1915-February 1919. Final rank, Corporal.
