Biography: Son of James Rhind; born Huntly, 3 May 1899. Medicine, 1916-17, 1919-. A.U.O.T.C.r 1916-17. Cadet (Gordon Highlanders); attached 10th O.C.B, 2 Jan. 1918; commissioned, 25 June 1918. Served with 3rd, 5th, Cameron Highlander, 7th Seaforth Highlanders. Served-U.K., 1918 France, Germany, August 1918-January 1919. Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant Military Cross, ""Gazette,"" 8 March 1919.
