Renton, Maurice Waugh
Biography: Son of David Renton; born Gamrie, Banffshire, 29 December 1868. M.B., 1893; M.D. (com.), 1906; D.P.H., 1908. Civil Surgeon, Boer War, 1900; Lieutenant, Royal Army Medical Corps, 1905, Mobilized, M.O. i/c British Hospital Formation; attached 10th French Army on the Somme. Served- France, October 1914-April 1915 ; Home, attached Dartford War Hospital, Medical Officer in charge at Vickers Munition Factory Hospital, Kent, 1915-18. Final rank, Major.
