Biography: Son of James Renfrew; born Colombo, 7 February 1892. Science, 1919. A.U.O.T.C. Private, 12th Scottish Rifles, 1915. Commissioned, Royal Air Force Served-Home, Egypt, 1915-17. Wounded. Final rank, Lieutenant.
