Biography: Son of Alexander H. Reid; born Dundee, 28 April 1877. M.A., 1897; B.Sc., 1900; M.B. (Hons.), 1902; M.D. (Hons.), 1905. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C., 58th (Scottish) General Hospital, April 1917; attached to 1/3rd North Midland Field Ambulance Served-France, May 1917-November 1918. Final rank, Captain. Mentioned, October 1918.
