Biography: Son of Andrew Ramsay; born Fetteresso, Kincardineshire, 29 November 1869. M.A.,1890; M.B., 1896. Lieutenant Royal Army Medical Corps, 1 July 1915. Served-Home, 1915, 1917-18; Egypt, Gallipoli, September-December 1915; Egypt, France, January 1916-June 1917; France, September 1918-March 1919. Final rank, Captain.
