Biography: Son of William Ramage; born Edinburgh, 14 April 1882. M.A., 1904. Private, 3rd Gordon Highlanders, 19 January 1915. Served with 1st Gordon Highlanders. Home, 1915; Flanders, April-June 1915. Wounded. Home, demobilized, August 1916. Final rank, Acting Lance Corporal.
