Biography: Son of William Norrie; born Fraserburgh, 10 July 1891. M.B., 1915. Enlisted, Royal Army Medical Corps, 1910; commissioned, April 1914. A.U.O.T.C. Mobilized as Lieutenant, Royal Army Medical Corps (S.R.), April 1915; attached to Indian Medical Service (duty with Indian troops). Served-Home, 1915; India, August 1915-September 1919. Final rank, Acting Lieutenant-Colonel.
