Biography: Son of William Norrie; born Monquhitter, Aberdeenshire, 6 February 1894. U.D.A., 1913. Gunner, 157th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, 10 March 1915. No. 1 Officer Cadet School. Served-Home, 18 months; France, 28 months. 2nd Lieutenant (on demobilization), January 1919.
