Biography: Son of William H. Neilson; born Aberdeen, 5 January 1879. M.B., 1905. D.P.H., 1921. Private, Uganda Volunteer Reserve, August 1914; commissioned, Uganda Medical Staff, 17 September 1914. Served - Uganda, 1914-18. Final rank, Captain.
