Bacteriologist, Lord Derby War Hospital, Warrington, 1915. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C. (T.), 1 December 1915 ; attached to Base Laboratory, Salonika; 65th Base General Hospital, Mesopotamia. Served-Home, 1915, 1917 ; Salonika, January.-December 1916, June- December 1917; Baghdad, January 1918 April 1919. Final rank, Captain.
