Arts, 1910-11 Trooper, West Kent Yeomanry, 7 August 1914; commissioned, 3rd Gordon Highlanders, May 1915 ; transferred Machine Gun Corps (Bombing Instructor) ; attached (Captain), to 5th Squadron Cavalry Machine Gun Corps. Served-Home, Salonika, France, India 1914-.
