Biography: Son of Robert Turner ; born Boyndie, Banffshire, 31 May 1890. M.B., 1913. Commissioned, R.A.M.C. (T.), 5 August 1914, attached to 1/3rd West Lancs. Field Ambulance. Served-Home, 1914-15; France, January 1916-June 1919. Final rank, Acting Major. Military Cross, November 1917.
