Troup, Robert Jamieson
Biography: Son of Robert G. Troup ; born Huntly, 6 June 1893. M.A., 1914. Served in 6th Gordon Highlanders,1910- 1914. Mobilized. Commissioned, 5th Gordon Highlanders, 26 August 1914; transferred Machine Gun Corps, attached to 153rd Company ; 35th Battalion Machine Gun Corps. Served-Home, 1914-15, 1917-18; France, April 1915-October 1917, April 1918-April 1919. Final rank, Major. Croix de Guerre, a Pordre de Division, November 1918.
