Biography: Son of Alexander M. Troup ; born Aberdeen, 24 May 1897. Arts, 1919-. Private, 4th Gordon Highlanders, 20 February 1915; transferred (later) 17th Scottish Rifles. Served-Home, 18 months; France, Belgium, 2½ years. Twice wounded. Final rank, Corporal.
