Biography: Son of John Trail ; born Fraserburgh, 6 November 1873. M.B. (dist.), 1910. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C., 20 May 1915. Served -France, May 1915-May 1916, April-December 1918; Samoa (New Zealand Medical Service), November 1916-January 1918; England, 1918-19. Final rank, Captain.
