Biography: Son of John Thomson ; born Leslie, 19 April 1862. M.A., 1885 ; B.D., 1892. War work-British Red Cross collecting, Amsterdam. Chaplain's duty to Presbyterians, R.N. Brigade interned at Groningen, and to exchanged Prisoners of War, Holland, 1914-16, 1917-18.
