War work-Orderly, British Red Cross Society., Motor Ambulance Convoy, attached to R.A.M.C.; dresser, No. 11 Stationary Hospital, France, 1914-17. Commissioned, R.N.V.R., 2 May 1918. Served in-H.M. Destroyer ""Senator,"" Dover Patrol, Black Sea, May 1918-April 1919. Final rank, Surgeon-Sub-Lieutenant.
