Biography: Son of John Taylor; born Stonehaven, 5 February 1877. M.A. (II Class), 1899; M.B., 1905; D.P.H., 1913; Matthews Duncan Gold Medal. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C., 10 May 1915. Served-France, June 1915-September 1917; Mesopotamia, October 1917-March 1919. Final rank, Captain.
