Biography: Son of John Taylor; born Aberdeen, 6 November 1875. M.A. (I Class, II Ment.), 1896-97; Seaneld Latin, Black, Prizes. War work-Administrative Assistant, Ministry of Munitions, Explosives Supply Department, 1915-19.
