Biography: Son of Samuel Tawse; born Aberdeen, 2 June 1890. M.B., 1914. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C, 1 February 1915. Attached to Military Camps; Officer in command, Prisoners of War Hospital; Military Hospital. Served-Home, 1915, 1917-19; Gallipoli, June 1915-January 1916; France, July-November 1916. Final rank, Acting Major.
