Biography: Son of James Taggart; born Aberdeen, 27 June 1898. Medicine, 1915-16, 1919-. A.U.O.T.C. Private, 4th Gordon Highlanders, September 1916. Commissioned, August 1918; attached to 9th, 3rd, Gordon Highlanders. R.A.F. Served-Home, 1916-17, 1918-19; France, July-December 1917. Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant.
