Biography: Son of Alexander Urquhart, merchant ; born Aberdeen, 8 February 1865 ; educated at the Grammar School ; student in Arts, 1889-92 ; studied for the ministry at the United Presbyterian Church Divinity Hall, Edinburgh, 1893-96 ; ordained at Burnmouth, Berwickshire, 1898 ; translated to Boston United Free Church, Jedburgh, 1904, where he was minister at the time of his death.
