Olson, James William
Biography: Son of Hugh Olson; born Castletown, Caithness, 19 October 1895. M.A., 1915. Private, Seaforth Highlanders, June 1916; commissioned, 26 September 1917; attached to 5th, 4th, 2nd, Seaforth Highlanders, 1st Durham Light Infantry. Served - Home, 1916, 1917, 1918; France, November-December 1916; India, Egypt, France, January-June 1918, September 1918-January 1919. Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant.
