Biography: Son of Robert Ogston; born Peterhead, 17 March 1889. M.A., 1912. Joined U Company, 4th Gordon Highlanders (T.F.). Private, 3rd University Company, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, 20 August 1915. Served - France, 1915-19. Final rank, Sergeant.
